I have all of Dr. Gregor's books -- including his previous cookbook -- and was so happy when I heard that he was coming out with this cookbook as a companion to his _How Not to Diet_ book. I eagerly pre-ordered this over six months ago, and am not disappointed!As with Dr. Gregor's previous cookbook, veteran cookbook author Robin Robertson also created the recipes for this new book. I had been worried that there might be overlap with the recipes, but there definitely aren't.The book is divided into several main chapters:* Introduction, which includes the following sub-sections: Seventeen Ingredients for an Ideal Weight-Loss, The Daily Dozen Diet, Green Light for Weight Loss, Twenty-One Tweaks to Accelerate Weight Loss* Soups* Salads* Pasta* Main-ly Vegetables* Beans* Grains* Breakfast* Fruit* Kitchen StaplesIf you haven't read _How Not to Diet_, the intro chapter to this book gives a nice overview of Dr. Gregor's key principles for weight loss.All of the recipes are whole-foods, plant-based (WFPB), and none use oil or sweeteners. Each one has a clearly-laid-out ingredient list, the number of servings, and the difficulty level. Each recipe (except for the sauces and spice blends) also has a gorgeous, full-color photo.Although I just received this, I already made the Black Forest Chia Pudding and the Black Lentil Dal. Both were easy to make and very delicious.My only gripes (and they are minor ones) are that it would have been nice to have had cooking/preparation times given for each recipe at the top of the recipe and that it would have been nice to have had Instant Pot instructions included for the soup and curry recipes.Otherwise, this is a beautiful book -- one that is full of healthy recipes that have already inspired me to make them!Bon appetit!

I want, I wish, I demand a lay-flat, spiral bound cookbook. Laiminated pages I can sponge off spice dust would be amazing. Oh, and those clear plastic, upright cookbook holdesr? The sharp, hard edges nearly severed a vein in my hand.Clean kitchen, messy, tumeric-thumbed cook -- that's me.Shall slice the pages and make my own 3 ring binder.I shall review the actual and most enticing recipes in due course; excuse me while I find a meat cleaver to begin the process of making the cookbook useful for ... me.
